A lazy Saturday breakfast before dance mania:

A banana, an orange, my roomie’s mother’s amazing homemade granola, and a sprinkle of spirulina! ❤

^spirulina ❤ all natural algae loaded with vitamins and minerals; 150% B12 and 39% iron in 1 teaspoon!!!

Dinner at Hillenbrand Dining Hall:

  • Quinoa Pecan Salad in separate bowl

Salad Includes:

  • Spinach
  • Cucumber, Broccoli, and Radish on outside rim
  • Shredded Carrot, Diced Tomato, Dried Cranberries
  • Scallion, Cilantro
  • Olive Oil, Ground Flax (I brought with me in jar on right)

I grind my flax in a coffee grinder because my dietitian told me that the nutrients in flax, like the very important omega-3 fatty acids, are more readily absorbed that way!  Also, I like the texture better!
